rear view of the ST676 Walk-In Oven used for automotive manufacturing

JPW recently provided a new ST676 for a South Carolina auto part manufacturer. This industrial oven will be used to artificially age aluminum parts for automobiles.

The ST676 is designed to reach temperatures of up to 500F while meeting a standard of uniformity – able to maintain a consistent heat temperature within the chamber at multiple points. Even application of heat in the chamber is a sign of expert engineering from JPW resulting in the right finish every time.

This model also features an advanced PLC Controller. This advanced style of control allows the user to receive a variety of feedback from all devices and elements installed on the ST676. It will also monitor the system and control it automatically by making needed adjustments during processing.

The client requested that the oven be able to cool down quickly so JPW installed a variable speed exhaust which provides a higher rate for cool down and a lower rate for processing. The level of customization that JPW is able to achieve with their ovens, and their passion for creating the best ovens is what sets them apart from the competition.

HT446IG

HT446IG – Hi-Temp Cabinet Oven

HT446IG model cabinet ovenThe HT446IG is being designed by JPW for a worldwide specialty alloy manufacturer. This oven is high-temp inert gas cabinet oven. The HT446IG is designed to hold large spools of wire with a reinforced floor capable of holding 6000 pounds of materials – made to match the customer’s request.

The model utilizes 1200°F in the heat-treating of wire, annealing the materials and giving them a shiny bright finish. It is engineered with a vertical down airflow that will cover the chamber evenly ending at the bottom sides.

This oven also operates with inert gas, maintaining an atmosphere inside the oven that is low on oxygen by replacing it with an inert gas. The chamber runs under a positive pressure of a ¼ inch to ½ inch of PSI. JPW’s leak point design adds safety and reliability to the inert gas oven. A designated leak point makes the oven operate more safely and efficiently. JPW also designs their models with a strongly sealed chamber and robust build that you can see and feel during operation.

The HT446IG also includes many electronic features. It has also been designed for installation of an O2 sensor by the client that will not allow the unit to run until O2 is properly reduced. It also features a eurotherm nanodac controller/recorder. This allows the user to program settings, make a profile for each process and record up to four channels such as product temperature or air temperature.

inert gas oven HT433

HT433TUL P 480V 36KWIG

HT433TUL P 480V 36KWIG, heat treating ovenJPW recently provided a northeastern U.S. manufacturing company with a HT433, an inert gas unit capable of reaching 1200oF. This oven is being planned for the use of heat-treating barrels for firearms by JPW’s client. Being an inert gas oven, this product showcases several unique features and processes.

This model is built to operate with a low-oxygen environment inside the chamber. By replacing the air with other gases during the process, the HT433 prevents fire hazards and preserves the quality of the products being treated inside.

The HT433 starts its heat-treating process by purging the chamber of oxygen. After switching to the process flow meter, heating begins. This model is also equipped with a ½ to 1 PSI leak point. This metal seated check valves release pressure when necessary to prevent over-pressurization during processing, providing a very safe and reliable inert gas oven.

JPW prides itself on the amount of repeat customers it maintains, like this one, and the relationships they are able to build with their clients. Businesses from around world enjoy working with JPW because of their level of quality and customization in industrial ovens. Remember JPW for your next industrial oven needs.

ST434 industrial cabinet oven

ST434 – Explosion-Proof Cabinet Oven

ST434 model cabinet oven with open doorsST434 – Explosion Proof Cabinet Oven

The ST434 is one of the more unique models of oven that JPW has had the privilege to manufacture. This oven was designed and manufactured for a lab in California. It is a Class 1, Division 1 – Class 2, Division 1 rated cabinet oven and will be used for munitions testing. For this reason, it was built to be explosion proof earning a NRTL certification.

Receiving NRTL certification at JPW allows the chamber to be put directly into production for the client without external certification. JPW’s ability to certify these types of ovens saves time, and money, on the client’s end, allowing for faster installation of the unit.

This special cabinet oven has a solvent rated interior and with special attention given to a non-sparking interior design. It is engineered as a low-temp unit, operating at 250F or below. Another unique feature of the ST434 is the heater control. The sheath temperatures of the heaters are controlled so the interior of the unit cannot get hotter than the flashpoint of the materials contained. This is also known as Cascade Control.

This is truly a unique cabinet oven, requiring highly important specifications and safeguards. Not only is JPW proficient in meeting such customization requests but they also maintain high quality and safety levels as the unit passes dozens of engineer reviews before delivery. This ST434 is just one of three units JPW will be engineering for their client.
