C156 – High-Temp Conveyor Oven

An Illinois-based forging company has recently ordered two C156 high-temp conveyor ovens from the experts at JPW.

Both C156 models are rated at 1000F and will be used to heat aluminum billets prior to forging for various products to be used in the weapons industry.

This oven model features an indexing conveyor belt system based on timers and sensors installed within the oven. This system allows the C156 to automatically move product into the chamber. The oven also features a PLC controller and a vertical lift door that can be controlled by a foot switch.

ST676 – Walk-In Oven for Automotives

JPW recently provided a new ST676 for a South Carolina auto part manufacturer. This industrial oven will be used to artificially age aluminum parts for automobiles.

The ST676 is designed to reach temperatures of up to 500F while meeting a standard of uniformity – able to maintain a consistent heat temperature within the chamber at multiple points. Even application of heat in the chamber is a sign of expert engineering from JPW resulting in the right finish every time.

This model also features an advanced PLC Controller. This advanced style of control allows the user to receive a variety of feedback from all devices and elements installed on the ST676. It will also monitor the system and control it automatically by making needed adjustments during processing.

The client requested that the oven be able to cool down quickly so JPW installed a variable speed exhaust which provides a higher rate for cool down and a lower rate for processing. C216 – Conveyor Oven for Coating and Finishing

C216JPW’s latest order is the C216 – being developed for a company specializing in coating and finishing.

The C216 is a gas fired conveyor oven capable of heating up to 500°F. Dimensions of this specific model are 48in x 20ft but can be customized upon request.

The doors on the C216 were designed to be manually adjustable by operating the custom installed crank handle. This custom feature allows the user to conserve energy and heat inside the oven by only opening the door as much as needed to insert new materials.

HT446IG

HT446IG – Hi-Temp Cabinet Oven

HT446IG model cabinet ovenThe HT446IG is being designed by JPW for a worldwide specialty alloy manufacturer. This oven is high-temp inert gas cabinet oven. The HT446IG is designed to hold large spools of wire with a reinforced floor capable of holding 6000 pounds of materials – made to match the customer’s request.

The model utilizes 1200°F in the heat-treating of wire, annealing the materials and giving them a shiny bright finish. It is engineered with a vertical down airflow that will cover the chamber evenly ending at the bottom sides.

This oven also operates with inert gas, maintaining an atmosphere inside the oven that is low on oxygen by replacing it with an inert gas. The chamber runs under a positive pressure of a ¼ inch to ½ inch of PSI. JPW’s leak point design adds safety and reliability to the inert gas oven. A designated leak point makes the oven operate more safely and efficiently. JPW also designs their models with a strongly sealed chamber and robust build that you can see and feel during operation.

The HT446IG also includes many electronic features. It has also been designed for installation of an O2 sensor by the client that will not allow the unit to run until O2 is properly reduced. It also features a eurotherm nanodac controller/recorder. This allows the user to program settings, make a profile for each process and record up to four channels such as product temperature or air temperature.
