This month we focus on Bryan Wack, designer at JPW. A graduate of Penn College, Bryan completed a degree in computer aided drafting and design. After joining the JPW team 6 years ago, he began applying that education to designing industrial ovens.
“As a designer you’re continually adapting and overcoming obstacles to make clients’ custom requests a reality,” says Bryan, “It’s great to see the paper design I create come to life for our clients.”
Once JPW receives a purchase order, drafting artwork, mechanical layouts and engineering plans are drawn out by Bryan. He works with the diverse talents of the engineering staff to make each client specification possible when the oven is built. Bryan works closely with every department, including fabrication, welding, assembly, purchasing, sales, and electrical to make sure every possible custom request is accommodated for.
